We're a six-person team building predictive analytics for municipal water utilities. We move fast, ship real software, and work directly with the SCADA engineers and water operations teams who depend on what we build.

When we improve the risk model's precision, utilities dig less. When we fix a SCADA integration bug, an operations team gets their alerts back. The connection between your work and the outcome is one handshake away — not filtered through a product analytics dashboard.
Small team, broad scope
We're six people. You'll own significant surface area. Engineers ship end-to-end: you design the data model, write the ingestion connector, build the API, and sit on the customer call when it breaks. No handoff queue.
Phoenix-based, no remote theater
We work in person in downtown Phoenix. No mandatory Slack emojis or async performance culture. If you want to think through a hard problem with a whiteboard, we have one. Remote is available for the right role — ask us.

Senior Backend Engineer — Time Series & Telemetry Ingestion
Own the telemetry ingestion pipeline: SCADA historian connectors (OSIsoft PI, Wonderware), time-series storage optimization, and the edge-agent that runs on-premise at utility sites. Python + TimescaleDB stack. You'll be the second backend engineer on a team of two.
ML Engineer — Risk Scoring Model Development
Work directly with Nadia to extend the pipe failure prediction model: feature engineering for new sensor types (acoustic, flow), calibration workflows for new utility onboardings, and model interpretability features for the customer dashboard. PyTorch + scikit-learn.
Technical Sales Engineer — Water Utilities
Own inbound from evaluation through signed contract. You'll run technical discovery, respond to utility RFPs, present to operations teams, and write scopes of work. Background in water utility operations or SCADA strongly preferred — this is a technical sale, not a sales-scripted call.
